DRUGI DELLLLL IIIIIII
*modra* Chapter 2: Another Meeting… Again!! *modra*
I didn’t even want to be here. And of course… there he was.
Enemy instincts.
He spotted me instantly, smirk already in place, that infuriating “I know exactly what I’m doing” look. “Fancy seeing you here again,” he said, voice teasing like the universe had personally designed this moment to annoy me.
“I could say the same to you,” I shot back. “But somehow, you always manage to find me.”
He laughed, soft and confident, like he knew exactly how much he was getting under my skin. “You wish,” he said. “I’m just… unavoidable.”
I rolled my eyes so hard it hurt. Unpredictable. Funny. Charming when he wanted to be. Annoying when he didn’t. Confusing. Irritating. And somehow… infuriatingly smart.
“Do you ever take a break?” I asked, voice low. “Or is being obnoxious full-time a talent?”
He raised an eyebrow, smirk widening. “Mostly a talent,” he said.
I glared at him, trying to hide the tiny thrill in my chest that he somehow always managed to trigger. Every word, every glance, every laugh—it was like he was carefully choreographing chaos, and somehow I was stuck in the middle of it.
We stood there for a few more seconds, eyes locked, silently sizing each other up. Enemies. Teammates in irritation. Secret crush chaos in full swing.
Then he turned and walked away, leaving me standing there, heart racing, internally screaming:
Ugh. Again!!
Why does he always show up? Why does he always ruin my perfectly normal day? Why do I secretly like it… even a little?
I sighed, grabbing my bag. Another encounter. Another reminder. Another chaotic day starring me… and him.
Enemy instincts. Perfect.
